10:00am – 5:00pm
(Children’s Activities close at 4pm; admission, activities, and food are cash only)

Our annual Waldorf Faire & Artisan Market is a festive, family-oriented event—just in time to kick-off the holiday season! This is a special day for our community, and serves as both a fundraiser and a celebration, complete with a fabulous selection of over forty local artisans alongside heartwarming children's crafts and activities. Wholesome foods, desserts, and baked treats are available for purchase in our café. Our Pixie Hut Store & Books will offer Waldorf inspired toys, crafting supplies, and a variety of parenting and children’s books.

Invite the whole family - plus your friends, and neighbours! It’s a great way to spend the day together!

Welcome to the 2026 Artisan Market

We aim is to create an inspiring space where our community can discover one-of-a-kind treasures and authentic, handmade gifts. We take pride in championing both emerging and established local makers, providing a professional stage for your artistry to shine.

Our Curatorial Vision
To maintain the unique spirit and integrity of the Waldorf Faire, we carefully select each participant based on the following standards:

Authentic: Work should be an original creation by the applying artisan. We do not accept imported or mass-produced goods.
Excellence in Craft: We look for exceptional quality and a thoughtful, creative, and professional presentation.
Distinctive & Local: We prioritize unique work that isn't found in mainstream Calgary retail, ensuring a diverse and fresh experience for our guests.
Creative Evolution: We love seeing our returning artists grow! We look for new designs and evolved techniques from year to year.

The Selection Process
To ensure a vibrant and balanced market, we limit the number of vendors in each category to avoid repetition. Our goal is to curate a harmonious blend of beloved returning favourites and exciting new artisans.

Artisan Applications: Our 2026 market is full! If you would like to be added to our waitlist or contacted about next year’s Faire, please send us an email: waldorffaire@calgarywaldorf.org
