Class One Classroom Assistant

Schedule: 8:00 am – 11:30 am on all school days

The Calgary Waldorf School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Classroom Assistant to support the Class One teacher and students during the 2025/2026 school year. The Classroom Assistant will assist with classroom management, support activities, and promote student learning under the teacher’s direction. This position suits someone passionate about Waldorf education or eager to learn, and who enjoys nurturing young children in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Strong command of written and spoken English.

  • EC Level 1 Certificate, EA training, or equivalent experience

  • Clear and current Police Check (issued within the last 3 months)

  • Standard First Aid Level C with CPR/AED certification

  • Keen interest in Waldorf Education and its approach

  • Canadian Citizenship or Canadian Permanent Resident status (required)

Position Details:

  • Part-time during the school year (not year-round)

  • Follows the Calgary Waldorf School calendar for all scheduled workdays.

  • Hourly wage based on experience and relevant education.
