JOYFUL BEGINNINGS PROGRAM

Our Joyful Beginnings program is for parents (Mom and/or Dad) and their babes up to the age of 18 months (born after September 1, 2020). Expectant parents, or those planning to have a baby are also most welcome to attend.

• a chance to socialize with other parents of young children in a warm, supportive environment
• an introduction to infant developmental stages and how to support their healthy development
• helpful hints to support family life
• an opportunity to build a repertoire of songs, verses and movement activities for young children
• an opportunity to hone your observation skills of your child’s development
• an informal introduction to Calgary Waldorf Education

Covid – 19 Restrictions: The Calgary Waldorf School must follow all required Health Protocols mandated by our governing bodies (Alberta Health Services, Alberta Education etc.). Adults participating in this program will be required to be masked if health restrictions require adults to mask indoors or while participating in similar type programs. This group is not considered a cohort for any restrictions. As restrictions change the requirements for attendance will be adjusted accordingly throughout the duration of the session. Your flexibility and understanding is appreciated. For the well-being of all participants and staff in the class, adults with mask exemptions cannot be accommodated in the program as there is not sufficient space to allow the required social distancing. We respectfully ask those families to please wait and join a session when indoor masking is no longer a requirement.
