GRADE NINE
In the Grade Nine, students live in a world of strong polarities. With direction, these polarities can be experienced as a framework for the unfolding of abstract thinking. The focus on activities within the greater community helps develop capacities for connection to the wider world through service and work, and to the self through intellectual challenge, imaginative thinking, and reflection. These steps provide a tangible experience to the transition from the Calgary Waldorf School curriculum and teaching methods to more conventional mainstream senior high school.
